Another Top Zelensky Aide Fired Amid Corruption Probe, House Raid, Trump’s Buddies

EuroNews reports that Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau has launched an operation linked to an alleged criminal organization involving current and former MPs and senior officials in the presidential administration, leading to the dismissal of another top official and police raids on homes. The presidential office announced: “Iryna Mudra shall be dismissed from the post of deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.” Through Ukrinform,Ukrainian media has reported that senior officials from the President’s Office of Ukraine are participating in the NABU and SAPO’s new investigations, albeit no names have been released.

Thus, Iryna Mudra’s’shock’ dismissal on the day of these searches and new investigations is no coincidence.Media in Ukraine and the region say her houses are searched. Oleksiy Honcharenko, a Ukrainian parliamentarian, said investigators investigated Iryna Mudra’s office. The case was not further explained.

In addition to Mudra, Zerkalo Nedeli claims that NABU and SAPO are working with former Opposition Platform — For Life politician Vadym Stolar and former Ukrainian parliamentarian Maksym Mykytas. The lawsuit also involves Justice Ministry and Sense Bank (previously Alfa-Bank Ukraine) officials.

The mission was called “Forrest Gump.” A snippet of an audio recording from NABU shows defendants discussing “four sacks” and the President’s Office. “Only a moron would register stolen money and tuition payments in his own children’s names,” the recording continues.

This follows NABU and SAPO investigations into high-level government corruption that have brought down several officials and embarrassed Ukraine.

Please recall from May:

Andriy Yermak, a close associate of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and former administration head, was arrested on money-laundering accusations by Ukraine’s anti-corruption court Thursday. The court ordered bond at 140 million hryvnias ($3.19 million) to release Yermak, who denies the charges, awaiting a final verdict. However, these investigations were twisted as if ‘heroic’ Zelensky was on a mission to remove the rot from within.

Every stunning Zelensky corruption scandal—and they keep getting worse—is portrayed as “proof that Ukraine is a functioning western democracy fighting corruption” as if it were Denmark waiting to happen.
